Generally, we help people with the following problems:
When it comes to illness, most people are unaware of how damaging previous dental care and your present oral health can be. The mouth is truly a window to your overall health.
That's why, through holistic dental care, we can help make a difference in the lives of men, women and children of all ages who suffer from diminishing health, low energy, pain and discomfort.
Those suffering from the pain, discomfort and embarrassment of poor oral health
This includes all conditions usually related to dentistry: Gum disease; bad breath; tooth aches; cavities; discolored, crooked, chipped or misaligned teeth; ....
These common conditions and how they are treated, often set the stage for further degeneration of your overall health. So, rather than just masking the symptoms, we work with you to uncover and correct the underlying causes.

Those suffering from physical, mental or emotional symptoms related to their poor oral health and/or previous dental care
Do you have any of the following conditions?
Cardiovascular:
• High cholesterol
• Irregular heartbeat
• Pain or pressure in the chest
• Alterations in blood pressure
• Feeble and irregular pulse
Gastrointestinal:
• Abdominal cramps
• Constipation or diarrhea
• Colitis
Neurological:
• Chronic or frequent headaches
• Dizziness
• Ringing or noises in the ears

Respiratory:

All of these conditions may be related to your poor oral health and/or previous dental care.
Dentistry is not a treatment for these medical conditions. However, restoration of oral health and the removal or replacement of previous dental work can result in improved self-healing and a significant enhancement of your overall quality of life.
With few exceptions, all disease either starts in, or is influenced by your oral health. The following are just a few examples:
-
Toxic Overload
Every living animal on the Earth today is the victim of environmental pollution. There is no zone or region on the planet that has escaped the toxic ripple of the industrial world. From Antarctica to the most remote, seemingly pristine regions of the world, you cannot avoid the effects of environmental toxicity.
Your body is a complex and fragile ecosystem that has natural defenses against disease. It eliminates, stores and tries to adapt to a lifetime accumulation of toxins - from the pesticides and preservatives in the food we eat and the food containers we use; to the air we breathe that has been contaminated with solvents, car fumes and industrial waste; to the tap water we drink which contains chemicals leached from contaminated soils, environmental pollutants and chemical additives, such as fluoride and chlorine; and to the chemically saturated environment we come in contact with every day.
When the level of toxins becomes too great for the body to process, these natural defense systems break down and cellular mutation and disease occur.
One of the major contributors to this toxic overload lies hidden in your own mouth - the restoration materials from your previous dental work. These materials contain highly toxic heavy metals, such as mercury - the most toxic non-radioactive metal known to man. These materials can also contain synthetic chemicals that your body may be allergic to.
On a daily basis, these toxic materials leach into your blood stream and are distributed throughout your body. How much of a problem is this? Well, if your mouth were a factory, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would shut you down because of the dangerous levels of mercury released.
However, unless stringent safety protocols are followed, simple removal of these toxic restoration materials may cause more damage than leaving them in. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of dentists in the USA who even see a need for, much less follow these safety protocols.
When the proper protocols are followed, many patients report positive, sometimes dramatic changes in their overall health. Those that don't experience immediate health improvements can at least feel good about having removed a major source of toxic overload.

Cardiovascular Disease
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in this country. There are few lives and fewer families that have not been touched by this killer.
A number of leading researchers in the field, such as cardiologist James C. Roberts, M.D., suggest that heart disease may begin in the mouth.
Numerous research articles indicate that both gum disease and the presence of toxic metals in the mouth may lead to heart disease. There is also evidence that healing gum disease is more effective at preventing heart disease than drug treatment for cholesterol problems.

Mental or Emotional Disorders
Do you suffer from any of these symptoms?
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Irritability
• Fatigue
• Headache
• Nervousness
• Insomnia
• Lack of attention
• Inability to concentrate
• Loss of memory
• Decline of intellect
• Shyness or timidity
• Apathy
• Loss of self-confidence
• Lack of self control
• Drowsiness
• Fits of anger
These are all signs of mercury exposure.
The brain is one of the primary dumping spots for toxic heavy metals such as mercury, which could account for this wide variety of psychological disturbances.
Although dentistry does not treat these psychological conditions, when oral health is restored and the toxic contribution of your previous dental work is removed, there is often a decrease in these symptoms. (top of page)
