Dear Friend,
Going to the dentist is probably not very high on your list of fun things to do. That is why I do my best to be extra caring and gentle. I want every visit to my office to be a positive experience. I will take time to explain what I am going to do, answer your questions and do everything I can to make sure you are comfortable.
For example, while you are visiting my office you can choose your favorite entertainment to help time fly by. You can read a book or favorite magazine, listen to music on personal headphones, or even view a movie on video glasses. I'll also strive to make you as comfortable as possible during your procedure with warm blankets to keep you cozy, hot towels and aromatherapy to calm you, sunglasses to block bright lights and nitrous oxide and sedation dentistry to soothe you.
My philosophy is to promote and provide long-term, preventative care to all my patients. The simple truth is that it is easier and less expensive to correct minor problems than it is to treat major ones. I believe it is my responsibility to encourage my patients to invest their limited time and money in effective preventative care instead of waiting to collect much larger fees from you somewhere down the road.
I also realize it is my responsibility to keep up with the latest developments in dentistry so I can give you the best care possible. That is why I take continuing education seriously and why I am active in a number of professional organizations.
I've even gone beyond dentistry. I've hired a psychologist to insure that everything and everyone in my office works together to make the most comfortable, relaxing, enriching and rewarding experience you can imagine.
But even more important than the state-of-the-art treatment I offer, is my wonderful patient care team. I am exceptionally proud of the people who make up this team. Not only are they skilled professionals, they will go all-out to make you feel welcome, comfortable and at home during your visit.
So, why do I do all these things? I do them because I want to build a lasting relationship with you based on the trust I have earned and your satisfaction. Whether it is your first visit or your tenth, I want you leave my office feeling good about every aspect of your care and happy that you chose me as your dentist. I see this as the beginning of a great relationship!
Sincerely,
Gene Sambataro, D.D.S.
