Protecting Your Health and Safety
You've probably never given it much thought, but a dentist's office can be a very unhealthy place. In a traditional practice where there are open operatories (treatment areas) and mercury amalgam fillings are placed all day long, the mercury particles and vapor released can contaminate the entire office as the air circulates, along with viruses and bacteria.
That is why we have gone to great lengths to make the environment in our office healthy and safe for our patients.
We have a self-contained water system that delivers distilled water to each room. This system can be completely dissembled, cleared and sanitized so water is never left sitting in the lines. We also have an advanced air filtration device in the office to protect air quality and improve air flow.
We have closed operatories (individual treatment rooms) that are fully equipped with patient safety equipment, protective clothing, masks and biological sanitation products.
Each treatment room is also equipped with powerful vacuums, ionizing bars and air filtration equipment designed to remove harmful particles (like mercury, bacteria and viruses) from the air.
To top it off, each treatment room can be sealed to minimize office wide transfer of particles. This helps us keep each room and the front office clean and contaminant free.
These safety precautions during amalgam removal are so important that you should never have amalgams removed by a dentist who cannot offer them. (Please order our Special Report on How to Avoid the Dangers of Having Your "Silver" Mercury Amalgam Fillings Removed if you are considering having your fillings removed somewhere other than the Institute.)
Each of our treatment rooms are sterilized according to federal O.S.H.A. regulations.
We take all these extra precautions in our office because your health and the health of my staff are always my first concern. |
